How to play Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games?

I rented the game because I wanted to see if it was worth buying. Only problem is the game didn’t come with any instructions to play, and the game doesn’t exactly tell you what to do. So, if any of you can please give me either a description and how to play each event, or just provide a website with the same info as that, you get 10 points. Easy peesy. Thank you in advance!

This is an FAQ guide of the whole game. Go the part of it that says techniques and I looked and I think it tells you how to do every action, as well as tips on doing them extra well.
Also at every event, read the description, the author wrote insturctions and tips within each event aswell so it should be easy for you to use this guide.
